I have to give a shout out to my favorite Goddess, Our Lady of Guadalupe! Her official feast day is Dec. 12th. So, in her honor, be a good mother to yourself – have patience, practice kindness, and buy yourself some beautiful roses.

On this day 10 million people visit the Basilica in Mexico to honor Mary. She represents love, compassion, motherly care of children, the universal promise of help and protection to all people, miracles, cures & interventions. The origin of the Arab word, Guadalupe is the ‘River of Love’…for others it means ‘River of Wolves’ and the Nahuatl word Cuatlaxopeuh signifies: ‘She Who stepped on the Serpent.’ YES!
