+ Hello New Energy – Mars goes Direct!

mars

The planet Mars (energy, action, passion, longings of the heart, desire) has been retrograde since December 20th. This may have left you “reviewing” the areas I mentioned and feeling thwarted in having any forward action concerning the things you are most passionate about. However, that’s about to change. Today, March 10th, Mars goes direct again, meaning you can look forward to some forward action – woo hoo!

“Mars Direct, in nick of time to launch Spring: energetic pluck, confidence, enthusiasm, passion and eros return to World! Venus emerges from Underworld in Aries (Mars’ realm), in time to guide Mars! The tryst of Venus and Mars births their daughter, Harmonia! All in Cahoots with Saturn exalted in Libra (Venus’ sign), who reminds us that magic is simply a willingness to co-operate with everything.” From Caroline W. Casey‘s Newsletter

“To use the gardening analogy, this retrograde has had us tilling the soil, composting, pulling weeds. Now that Mars is going direct, we may feel released to dig in and do. This grows stronger around May 17th, when Mars hits the degrees where it started the retrograde. This shows up in the houses where you’ve got Leo in the birth chart, and any planets it touches.” Astrologer Molly Hall

Have fun gardening!
