InSight: I think Jack would agree, Fear is Boring

I went to see Jack Johnson play at the Greek Theater in Berkeley CA last night. It was a well-timed adventure for me and my husband as we left our toddler behind and headed for the Big City. Jack Johnson was great. We liked him before this, but we really like him now. It’s more that just liking him as a musician. I am going to give you my Intuitive Review. That’s right, I’m going to tell you what I saw energetically and I will keep it simple.

That guy is open to the Divine Creative Flow. He is an open, allowing instrument. And his body is completely relaxed while he is doing it. He is filled with his own energy, channeling the flow. In other words, he’s a well tuned-up car, with a full tank of gas, enjoying the journey.

Now you may be thinking, “duh Heather,” but honestly, I never thought to look at a famous performer before. Generally, I never peek at people’s energy fields. It’s none of my business and truthfully, I don’t want to know. But here, in the Greek Theater, I gave myself permission (as any curious artist/intuitive would) to look… and it was cool. In fact, as I watched the performers throughout the night, I found myself marveling at their willingness to have fun, open up, and let the music/flow take them. Some artists were more embodied than others (more committed, more willing to let go) but they were all hooked up to the flow. That is the simple message. The flow is for everyone.

Watching the performance, I thought to myself – I want that. I want to expand my connection to creative energy and see what pours forth. As my astrologer friend reminded me today, the “Fear is Boring” banner flys over my website. It’s time to transmute my fears into fuel, just as I did when I said yes to the concert. It’s all about little steps, leading to bigger ones.

What little step could you take this weekend to fuel a dream you have? Share in the comments, if you feel inspired.
