This Week: Oct. 11- 17

pumkinpatch

Pumpkin Patch Season is HERE! The Sun is in Libra and the moon is growing bigger as is starts out in Sagittarius and moves through Pisces by weeks end. One thing worth noting is Venus is Retrograde in Scorpio (Oct. 6 – Nov. 18th) Venus rules love, relationships, finance, value, beauty. As with any retrograde, it’s a good time for review, but you might want to consider holding off on making any major decisions, purchases or aesthetic commitments while you are re-considering what you truly value.

“As the planet of love and values, Venus retrograde periods are times when we re-assess what—and who—we value.” – cafe astrology

“This is not a good time for cosmetic surgery, tattoos, and any permanent or high dollar aesthetic changes.” Molly’s Astrology

As for me, I will be holding this Venus Retrograde conversation lightly, as the areas of life it influences (relationship and finances) can be quite touchy. May we all take some time to wander around our pumpkin patches to find JUST the pumpkin we are looking for. No need to hurry. Enjoy the search.

Guest Blogger Laura Tabet will be joining us on Thursday, Oct. 14th with the CrowRider Report. You’re going to love it.

To Stir the Pot this week, I will be painting in the studio with Leah this Thursday evening AND I will be sewing up a bunch of magical mantra bags to fill the Build Altars store! Look for them by the next Full Moon in Aries next Friday, Oct.22.

How will you be stirring the pot this week? As always, leave a comment if you feel inspired.

I love the pumpkin patch picture! so cute! I’m stirring the pot by actually washing my couch cushions. I know, sounds funny/absurd, but I completely neglect that area of my life and just throwing them in the washer, i realized how cool it will feel to have a semi clean couch!

  2. Thanks Anne Marie! I pulled off all the chair cushion and pillow covers today as well. Nothing like a clean couch to make everything feel fresh again. xoxo heather
