New Moon in Gemini

On Wednesday, June 1st, there will be a partial solar eclipse as the Sun and New Moon light up in Gemini. This brings our focus into the world of the mind and highlights our beliefs about what is possible. So, watchu been talkin’ about lately?

Notice the conversation you have been having, either with others or with yourself. Take the initiative energy offered by this powerful moon to shift that conversation - away from blame towards self-responsibility (the ability to respond to the self.) Gemini is ruled by the planet Mercury – the trickster magician, the messenger of the gods – influencing communication, information, our thinking and expression. As Molly Hall writes, “Gemini is the mischievous sign, often poking fun at set, controlled or pre-planned ways of thinking. At the New Moon, the re-set button gets pushed, and the mind is free and flexible again.” It’s a perfect time to clear the mental clutter & acknowledge what really floats your boat.

  • Talk less, listen more
  • Take a deep breath: exhale the old story – inhale possibility
  • Play ping-pong with a ball, not with your mind
  • Write your New Moon in Gemini Wishes

TIP + Lighten Up -  Take a stroll in a windy place. Let your lungs fill up and release. Let the breeze clear your head of all the chatter, the non-sense and the shoulds. Ask yourself, what is the one thing you need help with right now. Let the authentic voice rise up & speak. Then, make a wish for ease, transformation and healing in this area. Speak it to the wind, string a note from your wind chimes, or hang a strip of fabric from a tree. Let the wind deliver your message to the unseen forces… you’ll be hearing from them soon.

Enjoy the Breeze, let in the ease…
