Full Moon in Libra

I don’t really know what to say, other than HOLY S*BALLS. The fiery frustration of the last few weeks with both Mercury & Mars retrograde in fiery Aries was a little insano… even for this Aries lady like myself. Today, Friday, April 6th, the Full Moon enters Libra as the Sun continues to illuminate Aries with Mercury now direct…. but Mars (the action planet) is still retrograde until the 15th. Let’s just say, that’s a lot of POW without knowing where to PUNCH. Somebody might get hurt. (Take a breath right now.) With a Libra full moon and the Sun in Aries we are all feeling the push-pull of these two opposing signs in the area of relationship – me vs. you, my needs vs. my family needs, etc. It’s tricky to maintain balance between knowing & honoring your self as an individual while being in relationship with others. Today, allow the Libra Full Moon help us to build bridges between our separate realities & sparkle up our connections to others, rather than merging, blaming and going unconscious. OR, as my friend Leah said today, “You-ing” each other to death.

  • Let yourself have an a-ha today regarding a “next step” to balance
  • Assuming we are all living in separate realities, consider Bridging Realities before assuming someone is an a**hole
  • Celebrate spring with fresh flowers & making love
  • Dream selfishly and stop worrying about others

TIP + Releasing the WTF -  I called my friend today, crying from exhaustion and overwhelm, saying “I need support.” She said, “I’m here to support you.” I felt better already. She let me break down. She agreed, being a baby mama is insane and affirmed that there is little room to take care of anyone or anything else. (You moms know the truth of what I’m saying.) She said, “go on strike.” I thought, I can’t do that…. for reasons blah blah blah. What a recipe for disaster! Safety Rule #1: Put the oxygen mask on yourself before helping others. OR as I say to my husband often, I don’t want to be married to a good guy, I want to be married to a HAPPY guy. For this full moon in Libra, let’s celebrate an honest relationship with our self and our needs first. It’s always a good time to do a little boundary work. It’s always a good time to hit the resent button. If you want more help, such as a teacher, mentor or simply some inspiration, make that wish, say a prayer, write it down, place it on your altar or toss it into a bonfire tonight. Release the WTF and embrace the F-YEAH!

EASTER SUNDAY – April 8th
I know you want to hear about the pagan roots of EASTER! The name Easter comes from Eostre (Ostara), an ancient Anglo-Saxon mother goddess who was a spring/dawn goddess of fertility. In pagan times an annual spring festival was held in her honor. Some Easter customs have come from this and other pre-Christian spring festivals – like the rabbit and colored eggs. The sacred animal of Eostre was a hare, associated with the moon, and eggs have long been a symbol of fertility, new life, rebirth, and abundance. Eggs were considered solar symbols, and figured in the festivals of numerous resurrected gods. So, regardless of your religious affiliation, Easter is another celebration of spring and REBIRTH!

Libra holds the Scales- resist judging yourself in favor of discerning what is the best path towards balancing yourself…. and Go Rabbits, humpa humpa!
