It’s a big week and the emphasis will be on BALANCE. We will be celebrating the balance of night and day with the Fall Equinox on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd. At the same time, the Sun will be entering the house of Libra. Libra rules the areas of our life that have to do with harmony, partnership, healing codependency, teamwork & negotiating. Think: win-wins. All that, topped off with a Full Moon in Aries on Thursday, Sept. 23rd who encourages us to say Yes to the adventure! It’s time to put together your Fall Altar.

This was mine from last year when we were trying to buy a house (and succeeded!!!!!) It has been a year since our economy went into the toilet. Many of us have experienced a tremendous amount of change and/or know people who have. The Equinox and the Season of Fall is all about acknowledging what we DO have, honoring our helpers, celebrating our abundance and sucking the last bit of summer sun out of your garden tomatoes.

The equinox marks the time of year when the days and nights are equal. How can you bring yourself into balance? Express gratitude! When you express gratitude it has the natural effect of bringing you into balance. You will feel better and attract more goodness. Happy end of summer and beginning of fall!

As the leaves rejoin the soil, the wheel turns and we come back into balance with the Fall Equinox September 22nd. The equinox marks the day  of equal balance between sunlight and darkness. Leaving the abundant expansion of summer behind, we begin to sort through what we are harvesting for the Fall. This marks the season of the Crone and is the “Witch’s Thanksgiving” – time to feast and gather with friends! Read more about the Fall Equinox  and begin to create your Autumnal Altar!
