We work together to create unique, earth-based rituals and altars that have special meaning for you, your family and your community. With the elements of letting go & releasing the old habits & patterns, combined with giving thanks & rejoicing, manifesting your dreams and fulfilling your true desires, to celebrating the seasons and sending out prayers for peace… create a ritual and altar to make it a reality.

“I’m not sure it’s possible for you to really grasp how much I truly love, adore and appreciate you. You bring lightness and good humor to everyone you come across – such a gift! Thank you so so much for the Blessingway Ceremony you so carefully crafted and guided. I can honestly say I feel so much more ready to welcome this baby girl into this world, largely because of you. Thank you for all you are.” – Meno (second-time mommy, first-time Blessingway) March 2011

Blessing Ways for Mothers
A Blessing Way is an alternative to the traditional baby shower. Whereas a traditional shower is focused on the baby, games and gifts, a Blessing Way is more focused on the Mother. Together we form a powerful circle – a container of support for the mother or mother-to-be – and declare our intention to release our fears and adore, bless & empower this woman on her journey through motherhood.
First-time Mothers

Folded Cranes filled with Blessings for Baby Boy
I worked with this first time mother, to create a Blessing Way Ritual with the intention of gathering the women in her life to acknowledge and witness her transition into Motherhood. The gathering included most of her women friends and family members – 30 in all. Even though it was a large group, the ritual was tailored to meet all levels of experience and was timely.

Together we called in the Directions and the Divine powers that be, to help and assist us in our intention. Her ritual was designed specifically for her and included a guided meditation & a group ritual art activity, along with opportunities for participants to share both privately and/or publicly, if they felt inspired.

For Second-time Mothers

Group Altar Connecting the Community
Above is the group altar from a second time mother’s Blessing Way ritual. The intention of this Blessing Way ceremony was to acknowledge, nurture & support the mother in her preparations to give birth to her second child and to honor her deepening commitment to motherhood & family, while assisting & supporting her in calling-in her new baby. We circled up in her garden on a Saturday morning with 12 women friends. The ceremony was specifically designed for her and included a guided meditation & ritual art activity that honored her love of gardening by creating a special garden altar out of succulents.
What participants said after the Tauni’s ritual:
Hi Heather,
Yesterday was fabulous and wonderful to share with “the mother’s” friends and family. You were awesome in leading the ritual and made it so easy and fun.
Thanks again.

Dear Heather,
It was such a lovely event for “the mother”. She’s still glowing in the love. It just couldn’t have been nicer. And she loves the succulents. Thank you for hosting it for her and putting your love and attention into it. So rarely do we get in a situation where we have to opportunity to say nice things, the things we always “meant’ to say to someone. Very powerful. I wish you only the best,
Love, P
Heather!
What an amazing celebration, reflection, meditation…..experience. I felt so fortunate to be part of something so beautiful. Thank you so much for putting together something so lovely.
Thanks again, k
