Full Moon in Aries

Say Yes to the Journey, Agree to the Adventure!

On Saturday, October 3rd, the full moon bursts into Aries. According to the Farmer’s Almanac, the full Moon that occurs closest to the autumn equinox (Tuesday, Sept.22nd) is called the Full Harvest Moon and marks the peak of harvest when farmers can work late into the night gathering corn, pumpkins, squash, beans, and wild rice. So what are YOU ready to gather? What seeds will you take with you on your boldest adventure yet?

The planet associated with Aries is Mars – the hero, the adventurer, the pioneer, the warrior. Mars asks us, “What do you desire?” When the Moon is in Aries and the sun is in Libra we are asked, “what is our relationship to our desires?” Invoking the natural curiosity & playfulness of Aries- stay open, entertain possibilities, don’t rush to premature solutions, and be willing to explore. Energy follows your intention. Once you have a clear picture of what you want, you can utilize the initiative gifts of Aries to create a new beginning and take a first step.

  • In what area of your life, will you grant yourself a “fresh start” today?
  • Commit to one form of creative self expression a week!
  • Move your body – workout, run, kickbox, karate chop!
  • Halloween Costume- ask yourself, if I could be anything, what would I be? Breath life into your dreams.
  • Have a bonfire – roast marsh mellows, write down your prayers and toss them in.

TIP + CHILD ASKS FOR HELP – We are all children of the Earth. We are made of the same stuff. When we feel the most alone and out of sorts, a walk in nature always seems to bring solace. So, take your question(s) or what you need help/support with to the Earth, our mother. On the full moon write your question on a slip of paper and bury it in the soil, toss it in a river, burn it in a fire or stick it in a crook of a tree. Let the Mystery work it’s magic. Let the information come to you…. in a dream, in a book, through a friend or stranger, just stay open to the form it takes. The information will come. The Universe Always Delivers.

COME PAINT - Friday Mornings 10:30 -12:30 starting October 23.
