New Moon in Pisces

Hello Little Fishies!

On March 15th, 2010 the New Moon slides into Pisces. Michele Lessirard describes this new moon with the mantra “I am the One who dreams in partnership with Spirit.” Yes!

This New Moon joins the Sun in the realm of dreams, mystery, deep imagining and unconditional love. Caroline Casey reminds us, “Everything dissolves back into Pisces.” Take a moment to offer gratitude with a deep breath, for the long journey around the zodiac is coming to an end. Give yourself permission to relax into the Piscean warming-pool of dreamy possibility. As you let yourself swim out to gather information, remember that you must always return home to the present moment to breath, ground and manifest your dreams. Whether you are a Pisces or not, it can be tempting to linger in the future of possibility or in the events/relationships of the past. Let yourself know the truth – MANIFESTATION HAPPENS IN THE NOW. Every step you take is progress. And as Alice Walker wrote on her blog, “it is your next move that counts.”

But who cares about progress when ‘this, that and the other” is going into the toilet OR he won’t call OR she’s getting on my last nerve! Hmmm……feeling over-sensitive? Perhaps your once rational mind stream has been flooded with thoughts of other people’s problems or your own? Feelings define Pisces. One of the gifts (and weaknesses) of this sign is to feel not only your own burdens and joys but to feel those of others as well – and not always knowing the difference!! Though it is important to acknowledge others feelings and have compassion, you don’t want to FEEL their feelings. As the energy of these Neptunian moonbeams wash over your noggin, let the gifts of imagination, intuition, dreams, increased sensitivity, and compassion renew your faith in yourself and others. As you begin to accept these gifts into your own life, your mood will surely change.

TIP + SWIMMING LESSONS: This is the ultimate time for dreaming. The last push, if you will, before it is time to “start something” in Aries. Pisces is symbolized by two corded fish. One swims into the deep ocean of the unconscious, and the other swims out into the Universe of cosmic possibility. Utilizing the gift of pisces, set aside some time to quietly sit and meditate. After taking a few deep breaths to ground yourself, picture yourself sitting in the warming-pool I described above. Without judgment or attachment, let yourself imagine all that you did NOT achieve over the last 12 months. Pause – Acknowledge it – Let it Go. Allow the energy to dissolve into the pool – to be neutralized and released back into the Wild Mystery with gratitude. Now do the same for all you DID achieve. Pause – Acknowledge it – Let it Go. Now, when you are ready, invite the corded fish to join you. As you hold the center of the cord lightly, let each fish travel for you with the intention of retrieving information for what you will be planting in the springtime. (Feel free to create your own intention.) Hold the cord as they travel out to the deep, far-out places. After the count of 10, or when you are ready, gently give a tug to the cord and the fish will swim back. Ask your Piscean guides for the information, including the next tiny step. Thank them for their help and say goodbye. Is there anything else you need to release into the pool? Use the same process, and when it’s time, climb out of the pool. Dry off with a comfy towel. Then, with your next breath, bring yourself back into the room.
