As the New Moon begins to wax new energies are awakened. Farmers plant by the moon because they know their seeds will sprout. As the moon is growing, it’s a good time for rituals and magic that need this same inspirational energy of new beginnings. She holds the power of the Maiden, the Wild One.
Full Moon
The Full moon is the culmination of power and the peak of magical energies. It is a time for rituals that are about fulfillment, empowerment and transformation. She holds the power of the Mother, the Creative Nurturer.
Waning Moon
As the Full Moon begins to darken and wane, power begins to transform again as it moves inward. Farmers plant root crops at this time, those that store nutrients in the ground. This is a good time for letting go, releasing, and reflection. It is time for divination tools and meditation. She holds the power of the Crone, Wise Woman.
